Like a picture for a you choose the caption contest; 'Spiderman takes a job getting Santa back into shape'?
Nice leading composition, as the joggers are about to come out of the frame, making this seem unbalanced and creating a bit of tension. I will comment on the black & white contrast another time.
Not what I would have chosen to wear jogging, as the mask seems like it would be suffocating. Does get my curosity up!
If spiderman is a girl, it would seem that she has drawn the short straw having to run in a mask.
Their positioning is good with that symbol on the road just behind them. At first it all appears rather innocuous but then the cultural questions set in. One presumes they're part of an event but no one else is in sight...and so on.
These seem to be similar trees to the one in the 'secret garden'.
Spiderman does appear to be Spiderwoman and I can't help but wonder if her head is tilted back that way so she can see where she is going in that mask.
Unlike John, I don't wonder if they are part of an event—too many years of seeing the sights in Hollywood.
The shadows of the trees along the bottom keep the couple nicely surrounded by trees.
I would not think that Spiderman (or woman) would have the need to jog. ;-)
A fun image -- I do like those trees.
The mind boggles. As they are on their own the normal excuse of running in costume for charity seems to be absent.
I think the photographic merit is lost in my curiosity of the subjects.

Thanks for the comments. Spiderman is blind and Father Christmas is his guide. A few weeks later the roles had reversed with the seeing guide being dressed head to toe as Spiderman. These athletes meet each Saturday to run laps round the park but these seem to be the only ones dressing up...which is unusual given the park's proximity to Harajuku.
