Window-Sunset-Window

Comments:
Abstract on real. My brain took a while to hoist in that the orange was square and not round: why was the sun such a strange shape?!
Very captivating.
Is this Stills' Orange?
Minimalist and enigmatic but I think I want more 'content', he said as the author of a black coat image! :-)
Is it part of a series?
while it was not planned as part of a series it seems to be becoming one. I guess not all series or projects are planned up front, they just evolve.
:o), yes it may need more content. No doubt there will be more foot in mouth in the future LOL.
I think that it has to be minimalist, otherwise the abstract element disappears and then one would be into a different picture.
The content here is the colour is it not?
One might say that the point of any sunset picture is the colour.
I think John is right and this has to be minimalist, but equally the curtain and the blind both make this more than a red square on black ground type painting. Abstract and very real at the same time.
I too was thinking rangefinder patch. A square sunset is most unusual and its particularly subdued surroundings add (well it beats the ubiquitous clouds). Some strong rectangles at work which move left to right which contrasts with the verticles in the nets.
Maybe I have Ralph Gibson on my mind, but this is another egnamanic image that is very captivating. Minimalist and abstract, but well seen and much appreciated. nice.
Late to comment and nothing much to add -- enough content for me. A good balance of abstract design and the reality provided by the lace curtains.
