Smart place.
A bit of a change after the oranges and greens.
I suspect that you've made this look more interesting than it really is - with the perfect selection of angles and edges and the elimination of distractions.
very solid shapes with classic curves. Even that tiny triangle bottom right contributes to the balance of the shapes.
This is a really nice study of shapes, lines and muted colors. I really like the way that the shapes just touch the outer edges of the photograph on the right and top. Abstract and very nice. Well seen.
It brings to mind an observatory: pointing out into space. Alternatively, one of the earliest WWII radars. Very well put together with an interesting sheen to the metal.
'Alternatively, one of the earliest WWII radars.'
Or a missile silo as designed by the snail people.
The interesting nautilus shape aside, it's the subtle play of light on the cylinder that makes this work.
This has a great sense of power to it. There is also a visual feast of shadows and highlights to play with. Not much else I can add that hasn't already been said!
