studying

The cafe in Aberystwyth Arts Centre is popular with students.

Comments:
Lovely light, well composed, what's not to like?

The lighting in this has produced a myriad of rim lights and highlights which I find very appealing and attention grabbing.

The idealised student...definitely an advertising air to this. Perhaps only the white streaks on the windows anchor this to reality :-)

The light on the pen, and to a lesser extent the bottle in the middle of the table, are very important to the feel of depth to this picture. They also stop the slant of the body leading my eye off centre.

Other than that...see Matt's comment above.

In agreement with all of the above on this lovely image.

Thanks for the comments. Luckily the seagulls stopped the advertising look! But seriously, this must be a pleasant place to be a student.

What wonderful light and well used. The white streaks I can live with but less so the reflections. With all that scenery in the background it must be hard to study in that location.

I agree with all of the above, a very nice image.

Likewise in my post below, you have the roundness of the chairs and table in contast with the squarness and angularity of the window, with the round features of the student framed nicely in the window. nice.
