Self Portrait

Sasazuka, Shibuya-ky, Tokyo

The TLR hunch?
You have taken to the format and the device well.
Honda Gorilla - 49cc of, er, style.
Love the picture.
I think that the good thing about this picture is the way nearly all the space is filled by something useful or visually satisfying. The shiny fuel tank is well covered with detail; the pannier is great. In the calmer waters of the wall and beyond the mirror fits in well with its reflection of a tree or shrub.
It is also a very appropriate self-portrait although how you live with that Rollei I don't know!
A very satisfying picture.
Now this is truly sinister. The distortion in the tank makes you look like the franken-photographer, which plays well with the name of the motorcycle.
As Matt is indicating, you are a photogrilla with the TLR. The tonal values work well with this image.
Self-portrait with carefully positioned title! The bike basket is a bit distracting but the dink in the tank adds some darkness top right which probably prevented that corner from being 'sky' and therefore a bit bright.
I wonder if motor bike chrome is actually magnetic towards cameras.
I am majorly (?) attracted by the image in the tank; I have to make an effort to look beyond.
This is brilliant -- maybe a touch scary, but the whole image in the tank is mesmerizing -- even the reflected tree is working for you here.
I like the square format more and more.
The more I use the Rolleicord the more I begin to appreciate HCB's comment regarding TLRs and eyes in your belly. Would make future back pain less of a concern. Thanks for all the comments. Colin identified the bike and I think a couple of other UK based posters alluded to my main reason for taking the portrait:

Well, I am not as enthusiastic this time. You title it auto-portrait and the reason is obvious. However, I think the bike is a bit too powerful a background. It is like a second subject and detracts from the auto-portrait part.
