Bridge

Comments:
This is an interesting perspective and I might not have know it was the underside of a bridge without the title. It has a very symetrical feel until you follow it down to the horizon on the bottom edge. Having the tree tops and roofs keeps you oriented. Very muted colors. Also trying to understand, this is a foot bridge? I'm very disoriented.

Almost monochromatic. Could be B&W, really.

I am not sure I need the elements on the bottom edge. I think I'd rather concentrate on the shape and surface.

I'd lose all those elements along the bottom or at the very least crop a centimetre or so off the bottom edge. The shape and the colour carry this all on their own and no further reference is required - apart from a title. Though how this is a bridge I'm still trying to get to grips with.

OK. Scratch all I said about the crop. That building in the distance behind the church has only become apparent to me. Quite wonderful and well seen.

This one was a "wow" for me. What marvelous shapes. The steeple and faint building behind it are perfect foils to the bridge. Fascinating.

The metal beam above supports a suspended footbridge via the steel bars that can be seen in the image. Also see "Wet Rails"

I took some images that showed the 'profile' of the bridge and they werew taken for the shape, however raindrops on the filter have created a lot of PP work!

I certainly wouldn't crop anything. Without the skyline this is just a shape. With it it is a place.

I can see why one would feel inclined to crop this, but think colin's instinct is right; without the skyline it's just a shape. With the skyline I can make up all kinds of bizarre stories about what's going on here.
