Out looking for a beer?
The tint seems to be admirably suited to the subject matter. Europe does this better than the UK (bicycles that is) and it is sad to think of all those cyclists disappearing from the streets of Beijing.
Even thought the picture lacks a figure or two to give it some dynamic, the sheer quantity of bicycles on display make a statement about this part of town. The pools of light from the street lighting are used effectively.
Lots of atmosphere and a sense of the place -- the bicycles make it a very unusual and fascinating (definitely foreign) scene for me. I like the tint on this one.
Would like to see this at the new size allowed.
This has the air of a security camera view. Taken out of your hotel window?
I can see that the framing is determined by the bright spots, but I don't think that there is quite enough going on here.
I too am in the more of the right view. You'd be losing some of those wonderful lighting moments in the road but with the strong arrows pointing left that's were my eye remains so make the most of the space. The tone suits this shot very well and adds years to the end result.
To me the pool of light is important but the brightness of the top left bleeds out of the pool. The street furniture and bikes are are right'ish' in the image.
