South Bank skateboarder

You don't have to comment on this one. I've posted it just for fun and for the thoughts it provoked about different treatments of the same subject.

Comments:
Except that you're going to get more of the same subject!

I didn't take any of the crowd that day. The audience and their performer create a good image. I like the triangle of light on the boarder.

Obviously, you already know I like this one.

The girl's long hair is a subject all on its own.

"

Agreed. That hair is rendered beautifully.

This is a fun image, of the boarder with his fan club who are also his captive audience. I find the darker initerior very intriging, but the brighter light on the right side distracting. Oh, yes, I agree the girl's hair is really nice flow of lines.

This has a much different feel than Rex's. Given the row in front of you it makes me feel a little less wanted to be part of the action. It also seems that none of that front row audience are actually watching the show. Well timed though with the skater and the light - it balances well on along the top of his board. However, this shot is less about the boarder and more about the environment in which these youngsters need to show off their talents.
