on Westminster Bridge

Comments:
The parallel lines of the railing take you first to the posing woman, but then to the eyes of the woman behind her. It works well, but it makes me want pancakes.
I'd be tempted to crop a bit from the top and bottom.
Thanks Matt - I have cropped some off the top and left but not the bottom. I think that that is an improvement.
As to the picture, I imagine that the photographer is posing his girlfriend in front of Big Ben, whilst the man with glasses is probably looking at the London Eye (millennium wheel). The pancake stand is taking advantage of the tourists.
My monitor seems to have gone wrong. It has re-organised some words to say that John has cropped an image............:-) :-) ;-)
So I missed the earlier version and cannot see the change.
I like the now typical scene of a camera being held in front such that the screen can be seen.
When in Oslo I was asked to take a picture of a Japanese tourist, I deferred to Caroline who deferred to Bjorn, after all we were amateurs, he was a professional!!!
I don't think that you have missed much Rex - the sky went up just under a cm above the head of the man with his back to you and a half figure was to his left. Yes - I agreed to a crop!
Wonder if Big Ben is growing out of her head? Definitely Team Japan on holiday (the peace sign gives it away). The sharpness of that sign versus the rather gentler positioning of her hand on the railing are a good contrast. Alas, this is all I can get out of this shot as the rest is too busy with little holding my interest. The two gentlemen gazing scene right take me out of the picture too as do the stairs in the back.
The two main subjects and picture taking scene are delightful and fun. Unfortunately, they are surrounded by distracting elements. I especially wish I could shoo away the two men in stripes looking off the right side!
It is a busy scene, but it is a busy place. Not perhaps the definitive picture of Team Japan in London, but a very evocative one, nonetheless. I like it.
