Mirror Mirror.........

Comments:
I admire the technical side of this: getting the camera in the right place and making sure your group look 'natural'. But that lampshade...! Interesting use of a dustbin as a tree holder. The glimpse into the room top left opens the room out well. As a matter of interest, why did you cut off the top edge of the frame?
Because that horrible lampshade then appeared twice! It was even bigger, brighter and uglier in real than the reflection!
I had to get my daughter to lean forward as the first versions had her shoulder in the image.
The dustbin etc are outside.
A bit too muddled for me - the lampshade, of course, but also the red rectangle (menu?), and the missing heads.
The foreground group are interesting though. You have me mentally wandering around the room trying angles and zooms :-)
I like the foreground, and the laughing woman in the background, but the guy in the red t-shirt with the missing forehead bothers me.
I think the muddled nature of this might have been rescued by including the whole mirror frame. The picture needs a boundary.
What are you drinking? It looks like a pint of mustard.
I could probably give it a top frame, but I think the image doesn't merit that amount of effort.
The drink is fresh orange juice and lemonade.
I took a series of these and they all had things that I did not like/want in the image. I admit this was the least bad in my eyes.
This is an interesting slice of life and I'm only bothered by the guy in the red shirt's head with the lampshade. Very hard to control all of the variable from a distance. Interesting image with all of the things going on in it.
Not much left for me to say on this one, except that I find it quite interesting, despite the mentioned problems. Considering the difficulties involved, it is impressive how well you did.
The elements of this shot which are over lapping detract from a lively scene which has been interestingly captured. I would also like to see the top of the frame to complete the rectangle - you also need to shave a couple of slithers off that left hand edge. That red t-shirted gentlemen dominates both in colour and lobotomy. The patron in the yellow is laughing but I only see arms, legs and torso which loses impact. The patron off on the far left would have been worth exploring a little more. This doesn't work for me however it is a well conceived idea and one that deserves returning too and waiting for the right ensemble to take positions.
