Freeway frontage house

Comments:
This I like; I think because it holds all the information it needs and the elements are put together well, like the netting in the immediate foreground. In UK this would not be freeway frontage on the basis that that means you open the front door on to the road. This is positively secluded!
This reminds me of Missouri. All you need is a couple of pigs, a 94 Camaro on blocks and a bass boat for sale in the front yard. I feel myself breaking out in sticky, 100% humidity and 100 degree sweat every time I look at this, which is probably why I've held off commenting. It's effective.
This is not doing a great deal for me. I'm wanting to see much more of that house or much less. As it stands, the slope the house sits on is taking everything out of the picture on the right and me with it.
I've held off commenting on this as well. It is so unlike anything I would ever think to shoot -- I have to think for awhile. The scene still doesn't attract me, though I certainly do get a feeling from it (dryness, dust and dirt come to mind).
If that delicate fencing showed up a bit better (which it might at a larger size) I think it would help to add interest and bring the eye into the picture. As it is, the house and trees overpower, and I also "fall off" the page with the slope to the right.
Falling out to the right over here too.
There is something about that slope and the wire that suggests that there is something more interesting to look at just out of frame.
Thanks for the comments, very much appreciated, especially those which have arrived at the feeling that I was trying to suggest.
A really rundown house on the edge of a very busy six lane "Freeway" in a arid part of Southern California. I might play with this image to bring the roof line up, but the down slope feeling seems to support my intent.
Not much on the right except some broken down fencing and a big sign that says (both Spanish and English) "Three Big Dogs; Keep Out!" Maybe I'll post that image later:- )
My obsession with verticals has hit me here, the house is falling over for me.
Your tinting has confused my brain too. That is a very strong shadow in the foreground from the fence posts and I sort of expect that 'lawn' to be 'whiter'
