Exit Now

Comments:
Not my usual style, but thanks to my participation here, I now find myself shooting photos through car windows on rainy days. I must say, it makes a long ride much more enjoyable.
This is a wildlife shot isn't it?
I like the unknowing wording of the sign - a meteor will strike shortly! The effect of a warm, wet Florida evening (I don't think that it's morning) is well caught with amazing colouring that illuminates the beast (or is it floodlit from above?).
I will desist from talking about theme parks!
Great window shot. As you know, I have making a number of moving images, so I like what you have been able to do. With the dim light, it enabled you to use a slower shutter speed and have a greater sense of motion with the on coming cars, especially with road mist behind them. A great sense of movement. Also funny context with the dinosaur lurcking near by, but also gloomy image and forbodding. For me, I would add a curve layer to slightly lighten the tonality and bring in some details from the shadows.
"Exit now" presumably means "Entrance this way". I think that that language hurdle adds an extra layer of interest to the pic. As John said...meteor anytime soon.
I don't quite get gloomy and foreboding. Well, not unless I imagine a car full of kids and a weather spoilt afternoon. I see more social documentary. The way we live now.
I can't get past thinking that the sedan is about to rear-end the truck. Whatever else may be going on in this photo, all I can see is an accident about to happen even though I know they are in different lanes.
The dull appearance of this image portrays those dark stormy days that seem to have been common in this year's UK summer. I can almost feel the sultry heat and hear the rumble of thunder.
It is the oppressive sky rather than the Dinosaur & sign that makes the image for me.
I like this a lot. The overall gloominess adds to the effect. However, I'm really in two minds about the sign. Whilst I appreciate the mixed message it tells I am probably more in favour of its removal. The dinosaur is so out of place it looks real...if that makes any sense?
