Doors Closing

Comments:
I frequently find that it is the children who notice a stranger with a camera. Adults are more engaged with their thoughts/chores/preoccupations.

A nice moment.

Interesting dynamics of those lost in their thoughts, but then the direct eye contact with the little girl. The red shirt first grabs your attention and then you see the girl.

The tube offers endless studies. Photographically, it is obviously the little girl who proves to be the focal point but of more interest is the big boy on the left playing with his toy! I'm losing count of photos of mine that have have a person with either, a) a mobile phone or b) an electronic gadget.

I don't recollect ever seeing those concave/convex hand rails before. I can't imagine what I would look like in a red T-shirt, shorts and trainers! Taken at Embankment?

I think the hand rails curve towards the door at a constant height.

I got a series of 3 images as the door shut. The best image of the little girl was with the lefthand guy in the window of the door but the red man had his nose (image of :-)) just cut off by the door.

I did wonder if I could create a composite showing the door shutting.

I think the framing with the door open is just about perfect. The stair step progression of figures down to the girl really draws the eye, as does the bright green poll. Very well done.

I'm really enjoying this -- the many bright colors seem to be all in the right places. The characters are interesting and the little girl with eye contact and a white shirt anchors the whole picture beautifully. As mentioned, perfect framing.

The door framing works well in enclosing the 'action' in the carriage. The three lefthand subjects all link together with their arms in some way. The shoulder and arm on the right adds a rather ominous tone to proceedings given the brightness of light and clothing elsewhere. I'd guess he's playing with a blackberry.
