Oslo Statue

"I'm p****d off lying here - can I go home now?"!! I don't what what the wider context is but the sculptor certainly snook in quite an amazing expression here. Your use of the legs as a frame and lead in works well. It's also interesting to see the grain of the stone isolated by the framing and have to carry the picture without any variation in colour. It works well.
Odd picture and almost obsence, as it appears that the statues (?) are nude and we have this stoney fellow starring at something. Or possibly as my grandkids might say "peck-a-boo!" Only recommendation may be to darken the slightly out of focus foreground diagonol mass, as it appears too light for me.
Wonderful. As soon as this popped onto the site I was smitten. It inspires me to work much harder with my art as art shots. Beautifully framed and so much depth. Can you tell I liked this very much?
How very clever and effective. You've really humanized this stone character. The design works very well and I'm with akikana on the inspiration bit. Certainly a new way to look at something like this.
I can only imagine what a bystander might have thought watching you take this picture!
This is from the famous statue park in Oslo (Vigeland Sculpture Park) and just about photographed by everyone who goes to Oslo. I went with Caroline and Bjørn so no pressure to do something a bit unusual/special!
