Dublin 6 - crossing the street

Comments:
John, it took me a moment to get my orientation, but perhaps that this is a window reflection helps with the moodieness of the image. Now it's interesting that the guy across the street is wondering, "just what the heck are your doing?" With the chairs (?) out of focus in the foreground, makes for an unusal image, a bit disorienting with resulting angles and prespective.
A fascinating reflection, with the ironwork and angles and atmosphere of a place that is not giving me a safe feeling. Those two do not look very happy. I look forward to hearing a bit more about this experience!
Nice B&W. For some reason I get the impression that rain is sheeting down, but perhaps that is dust a dirty reflective surface.
I wish the chairback was a little less prominent, but that's just picking nits.
It looks like a reflection in an antique mirror outside an antique shop.
I do find the 'pair' a bit ominous.
The angle provides a jaunty impact.
A second for the threatening nature of the shot. The criss-crossing wires somewhat detract from the impact though as they provide a shield to the viewer from the two gentlemen. The sharp windows top left are a little out of sync with the rest of the softer tone presentation.
As Rex states: an old (maybe antique) mirror outside a (maybe) antiques shop - more like second-hand - run by a Sri Lankan. It was raining.Once one has gone for focus in the plane of the reflection then the DOF will include the building as well as the figures.
Christina - I am happy to report that I didn't need to invoke any insurance policies.
