Bulrushes #2

Comments:
Given the fun we are having with titles perhaps this should have been called 'Ant'!

'tis the top left background that I find confusing.

The subtle colours are very attractive.

Very nice tonality, but the dew drop does not create the same suspense as the earlier image. And without a strong point of interest, the foreground out of focus parts now bothers me.

I'm happy with the top left but less so with the nearest OOF bunch above the water. The comparison in size between the ant and the drop makes the picture; and this drop is more interesting than the more conventional earlier one. But, despite criticism, it is gentle on the eye and revealing of nature.

I find it difficult to critique your nature work when I appreciate so much time and patience goes into the finished result. Again, this has an air of expectancy. I can live with the top left but I still need more stem and that bug to be much lower in the frame. Do bugs take well to being directed! It's still a superb piece of art though.

You could call this one ‘white water’. The picture is fully dominated by that one small patch.
