Smart Cars (03600006)

Comments:
Apparently you cannot do this with the new one because they've made it longer to stop passengers feeling seasick.

This is both humorous and a pattern picture.

Designer parking. I presume that this is Paris: one US car wouldn't fit in the picture (sorry!!). It's a wonderfully bright picture - a good exposure for both the conditions and to slightly blur the pedestrian. Creative, and very Gallic, parking; in UK it would have towed away by now. Is that a flag painted on the back or just another designer feature?

Must be Paris. Can't be anywhere further south or everybody would just be double parked anyway.

The pedestrian is important. That car has legs.

Paris, indeed. The "flag" is just a racing stripe, I think.

What I find most interesting about this is the different size in gaps between the cars. Given this is mainland Europe I'd have expected more space on the left of the Smart than the right. Perhaps a chivalrous driver... Also the Japanese car and French car either side are nearly identical. However one has beautiful curves and the other will be very reliable.

Much to like in this.

A very enjoyable image. Of course I like the cars and their arrangement -- and the moving pedestrian is really a great addition. But I'm also very drawn to what looks like graffitti on the wall behind the figure. As mentioned, much to like. The windows and their lighting is interesting, too.
