Comments:
I want this to be bent or curved so that it would say: inside of a worm or the tube of a vacuum cleaner. But it is straight so it becomes, well, less flexible. The most intriguing bits are the gaps to the right that might, perhaps, give a clue to what it is about but don't quite. I can't make up my mind whether it is symbolic (constrained journey) or an exercise in determining DoF.
I am reminded of park benches and I cannot see this as an abstract so I am left trying to find interest at the point of focus. I feel like I want to step back and see more.
"I am reminded of park benches"
It is a park bench. Not sure that there is really anything more to this, except that I thought these park benches were kind of neat.
Yes, park bench immediately came to mind but I wasn't completely sure. As John mentioned, an exercise in DOF but I'm not sure what more to say other than I too feel like I need to see more.
I too am wanting to see a little more here - not necessarily by stepping back. Something hiding in/behind the groves or an interesting scratch/mark in the sharp section of the shot. Technically no faults though - good use of vanishing point lines which plays off quite well with the 90 degree opposing curve.
