The cloud formation complements the overall scene well and forms a relationship with the sea that sums up that sort of day. I was inclined to say cliche when I first saw it but there are enough differences from the genre to set it apart. A powerful conversion.
A very different interpretation of a common photographic theme. The deck just seems to stretch on forever and the 'site' at the end is sublime. The energy/movement in the water lifts this from the ordinary and adds some life to the proceedings.
