Wet Curves

Comments:
An infinite number of curves with all those droplets. Very nicely exposed with the minimum amount of highlights from the water. The matching of the main curves of the chairs is quite sensuous and, correctly, dominates the picture. The small palette-shaped hole not only introduces a curve set at right angles to the main shape but also a window into reality, which then ties in with the reflection at the back of the further chair. A very tactile experience.

I suppose my last sentence should have read: visually the equivalent of a very tactile experience.

The hole in the seat (with some careful dodgin/burning) could really increase the optical illusion it provides the viewer. The muted colours towards the bottom left of the shot add a sense of foreboding of more inclement weather. This contrasts well with the rather brighter conditions encountered on the upper right section of the picture. Perhaps lose the top right hand triangle of background? Unusual and interesting and like the leaves beneath it a shot that sits better with me through subsequent viewing.

Rex, you've managed to make me think of sports cars without showing even a hint of a car! Great curves and depth and those droplets......how many litres is it?

There is definitely an echo on this blog.....another picture excellently taken from the everyday.

My eye catches the straight lines visible through the hole rather too much for perfection.

As JohnJo said, though, these are fast chairs.

I find myself wondering what this would look like without the water droplets. Less busy? Or just less? It's an interesting question.

Well I would have to think of another title, it wouldn't have been wet and curves has already been used!
