Just as it is (3)

Comments:
I'm not sure that 'like' is the right word for such a subject, but it is a very striking and memorable photograph.
Ambiguous too. The green line at the bottom just about completes the smiley, such that I can flip back and forth between seeing the symbolism of the rope and the symbolism of the smiling face.
One wonders about the mentaility of the original authors of this painting. You'll have to tell us about the building and location.
This is my guess................
This picture was taken on a walk along a river into the centre of Ghent.
Ghent has two symbols for the town, a Dragon and a noose. They seem to have festivities that revolve around the noose!
So someone painted a nice picture of the town symbol on a bright red wall (conveniently between two eyes) and some dimwit came along and painted a dog.
Perhaps he was a photographer?
The dog makes a sort of inferiority complex Hitlerian moustache. At first sight I think of Northern Ireland but two things militate against that: the cleanliness and the lack of military hardware. What a strange symbol. It makes an intriguing picture and is well presented.
This reminds me of the canal photo, which also had the suggestion of a smiling face. Not sure how much contrstructive I have to say about this, except that it's a good example of the art of something in front of you, which isn't always an easy thing to do.
I'd hang it on my wall.
..as would eye.
The colours just pop and compliment. You have taken such a boring vista to the average Joe and raised it a notch. This is why I look to the normal for inspiration. A couple of windows and a noose and what is it? can you see it? Yep, it's a face.
