Reflections for £69

Comments:
Interesting colors, but my eye doesn't quite know where to look.

The overall ochre effect, nicely lifted by the red and blue, makes this attractive. But for me, it falls somewhere, rather awkwardly, between descriptive and abstract. It's probably the lamps that prevent it being interestingly patterned and semi-abstract - and the price tag!

I agree that there is nothing that jumps out to hold my interest. Your title infers me to focus on the price tag but the price is vague. I don't see many reflections either. As many have said previously, there is definitely a shot here...but alas not the one you chose. Sorry!

This, to me, sits uneasily between being a pretty picture and a record picture and doesn't quite fill either role well.

My feelings are much the same as John E's on this where he suggests the shot falls somewhere between descriptive and abstract. Not that that in itself is a bad thing but I can't find much to hold my attention other than the excellent colour.

I think I was guilty of a bit of retrospective justification in the title. The initial attraction when I took the picture was the multiplicity of reflections. When I came to look at the result it did not seem to be sufficient.

The title was a poor attempt to justify/strengthen the picture.
