Welsh RGB

This is a small attempt at a joke - see:
http://www.auspiciousdragon.net/photostream/2006/03/rgb-and-ryb.html
Taken in December in Aberaeron - Queen Anne houses by the sea. Using the 50 - 200 lens.
I have deleted all your comments - for which I apologise. A new comment attempts to sweep up what was suggested.

"Ho Ho Ho!
Proving you can't please all of the people all of the time, I don't mind the white line on the left, but I find the lampost on the right a distraction.
Was the grass really that green? In December?"
Lamp-post gone! Green? - this is Wales boyo! Until the cold East wind in February the grass was green and still growing!

"I think I would have missed the joke, if it wasn't for your link. There are some very strong colours here, which please the eye. I particularly like the colour and detail in the tree and feel that the central position of it, is ideal. Playing around with the composition, I did find I prefered the lighter top of the tree removed. See what you think. I do agree with Michael about the white bit on the left side. You could also consider cloning out the little twig at the bottom."
It wouldn't have been a joke unless I had said! Left hand side and top of tree cropped and twig cloned out.

"taken in december? seems you had really nice weather at that time. just the opposite we have here in germany these days. like the cautious RGB ;) the RGB looks a bit like transformed into CMYK color space. the tree's postion divided the single colors and image parts well. like your compo. only the white 'line' on the left does not please me.
don't think much about different color models like RGB and CMY(K) and their theoretically physics. its just important for me to know how to use these different color models as a photographer, mediadesigner"
White line on left cropped.
Thanks for comments. Perhaps I had not looked at this seriously enough (despite liking it) having only been prompted to post it by the RGB/RYB discussion in the first link.
I had wondered about the white line and noticed the twig on the ground only after posting. I was quite intrigued by John's suggestion to get rid of some of the top of the tree and was initially suspicious. I did take some off, though, and wonder whether that makes a difference.
Is this acually 'Welsh Redbit'!
I didn't see the earlier version, too busy loading software on a new computer!
I like the way the tree connects the two green elements in the image. It almost drags the two parts together through the colored centre.
Thanks Rex. You had me searching the picture for a rare bird - bit slow on the uptake! The joy of a new computer is that they work so much faster before being weighed down with all the baggage we load them with.
