Islands

From a trip to Dublin. In mid-fallow period. Falls into my pattern, monochromatic, abstract domain. I didn't really feel inspired.
Comments:
This looks like a pipeline under the oceans. The marks are figures dancing in the water or, as you see it Rex, a map of islands. Intriguing picture.
Rex's 'blue period'? As this first emerges on the screen, a number of comparisons pop up and, even if dismissed, linger on: an airline fuselage, a submarine or an earth elongated to a cylinder. The clear blue laid out as if above a horizon invites the latter and you obviously think so with that title. But it could also be a submarine patrolling the deep on a long cruise, losing strips of paint. Whichever way one looks at it, the mood is upbeat, prescient of good times. Very beautiful.
Attractive. I can see why you took the photo, but at the same time understand the 'not inspired' comment. A photographer's shot. The sort of game that we play.
The colours are great.
really interesting image. looks like an underwater pipeline or a corroded aircraft. much to imagine here.
